Information We Process

Bluesky Video Downloader (bskytool.com) processes the public post links you submit. Our servers and providers may also process IP addresses, browser information, request times, response statuses, and error details. No Bluesky login is required.

Why We Process Information

We use this information to:

• Find, prepare, and deliver requested video files.
• Diagnose errors and improve service reliability.
• Prevent abuse, maintain security, measure site usage, and support advertising.

Temporary Data and Retention

We store download tokens and associated media URLs temporarily in Redis; tokens currently expire after 10 minutes. This expiry does not define retention for all data. Operational logs and media handled by infrastructure or external providers may be retained according to their service needs and policies. We do not offer a permanent media archive and cannot promise immediate deletion of provider-held data.

External Processing, Analytics, and Advertising

Submitted links are sent to an external service to parse and prepare media. Hosting and delivery providers also process data needed to serve requests. We use Google Analytics for usage measurement and Google AdSense for advertising. Google and advertising partners may process IP addresses, device information, interactions, and identifiers for measurement, advertising, security, and fraud prevention under their own policies.

Policy Updates

We may revise this policy when the service or its providers change. The revised policy and update date will appear on this page.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Google Analytics, AdSense, and their partners may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies for measurement and personalized or non-personalized advertising. Site features may also store preferences in your browser.

Your Privacy Choices

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser and review Google’s privacy and advertising settings. These choices may affect site features and do not necessarily stop all technical processing. For questions about data processed by this service, contact us at the address below.
